I started playing piano in 3rd grade and trombone in 5th and eventually learned all lower brass (baritone horn, bass trumpet, and tuba). In high school I joined a 'Chicago' band called Harper, playing trombone and singing occasionally. After a few years I started playing keyboards in the band and was singing quite a bit more. After Harper I joined a New Wave band called 'The Verticals'. After that, 'New York Force' and after that started my own band, 'Wise Guise'. I went back to college in '84; I got my A.A. (Cum Laude) from O.C.C., and B.A. in History from Rutgers in '90. And I play bagpipes in the Shamrock and Thistle Pipes and Drums of Ocean County, NJ, and Jersey Shore Celtic, our competition group.

I started in Graphic Arts in '86 as a Layout Artist at the Ocean County Observer and have since worked at Ad agencies, private corporations including government contractors, taught graphic arts, and do freelancing. I am currently working as a Web Developer at Ft. Monmouth.
